Cardboard Automata
Today we are going to start on creating cardboard automata. I hope I have all the necessary tools, but if not, we can improvise (creativity is a major part of this project).

So we started following the steps to cardboard automata, and I was amazed at the amount of cardboard collected. We had to pause a few times in order to clean up. I had everyone to choose between making the up-and-down or round-and-round versions so we can gain a basic understanding of how the automata operate. Cutting the flaps took the longest amount of time :-\ However, we all were able to get to the point of making and "installing" our cams. The next step will be to add some designs and figure out the best way to make them work before we move on to a more complex version.
